IN TRANSIT is an all acoustic live recording of original compositions produced in Detroit, featuring internationally acclaimed musicians from Senegal, Brazil, Armenia and the U.S. The diverse cultures within this ensemble weave a common thread through musical history that has influenced one another over time, though together is a modern-hybrid of old world sounds that cross cultures, creating a new voice in World Music. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Grammy award winning sound engineer, Jerry Boys of the Buena Vista Social Club. Special featured guest musicians of Vinicius cantuaria and Youssou N'dour’s group perform, as well as Detroit's jazz legend, Wendell Harrison and many more.
