Jeffery Schultz – Detroit – Cinematography
Award winning photographer/filmmaker and graduate of the College for Creative Studies, Jeffery’s vision and ingenuity, in collaboration with the talents of producer/designer Jennifer Atanasovski, enables him to create imagery to evoke emotional connections with an audience. Jeffery’s company, Knagen Films has taken awards for his movies at international film festivals and has received many nominations.
Vanessa Lobo – Brazil – Samba dancer
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Vanessa is well-known world-wide for her infectious style of dancing samba. The exuberance that she happily shares with her audiences is irresistible. Vanessa is now a guest dancer with Tudo Beleza, a popular samba company based out of Seattle.
Xiomara – Columbia – Middle Eastern dancer
Xiomara, of Colombia and now Miami is a mesmerizing vision with whirling fabric. She fuses her twirling while spinning Chinese ribbons. Xiomara is recognized worldwide. Recently, she was an invited guest at the presidential palace in Dubai, UAE, performing at the Royal Wedding Ceremony for the Princess.
Maila Sylla – Senegal – Sabar dancer
Maila Sylla is a Senegalese-American woman who comes from a family of artists. Her mother, Aissatou Bey, is a long time member of Muntu Dance Theater. Her Father, Raymond Sylla, is a pioneer of traditional African dance in America. She studies African dance in Dakar, Senegal with the Joe Kololi Ballet. She also studies African Dance with Nahgeree Silas of Minianka. She is experienced in ballet, tap, hip-hop, dance hall (Jamaican) and a variety of Latin.
